2 Days trekking tour of Hezar mountain | North Face
Hezar is located in Baft region of Kerman, south-east of Iran and with an elevation of 4500 meters; it is the highest peak in Kerman Province and you’ll experience the feeling of being above the clouds over there. The solitude at top of the peak with the combination of a magical landscape will provide the best chance to meditate for a little bit.
In this hiking tour we will explore the northern face of Hezar mountain where the Rayen waterfall is located. This is one of Kerman’s most beautiful and tallest waterfalls; thus, is visited by many as a recreational place on holidays.
The source of Rayen waterfall is Hezar itself which gives life to many streams and rivers. As a matter of fact in, this tour we are following one of this rivers to Hezar’s shelter at the elevation of 3000 meters. This is one of the most heavenly landscapes in Kerman, walking along this river and among many trees while the scent of herbal drive you mad like nowhere else. As you know by now this mountain is called “Hezar” (thousand) because you can find one thousand diffrent herbals over there.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Afternoon: Leaving Kerman early afternoon, we will begin our tour by going to Rayen waterfall which will take about 2 hours of driving.
Evening: Beginning our hike by passing the water fall where the path is a little steep and takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. Afterwards we only have to hike alongside the river and pass the river couple of times (which is not difficult at all) to get to the shelter. In total, this part should take around 2 hours.
Night: We pass the nigh by making our camp or putting or stuff in the shelter, making regular and herbal tea, eating our dinner and finally sleeping.
Day 2:
Morning: Waking up early and after doing some warm ups we will start our trek to the peak.
Noon: After reaching the peak, taking enough photos and eating something we’ll start to head back to the shelter.
Afternoon: Rest a little bit, eat the lunch and go back to the car.
